Critical Rescue International (CRI) is the first national advanced medical paramedic company in Nigeria. The company was registered in Nigeria and incorporated in October 2001 with its main objective of providing emergency communication services, pre-hospital and hospital emergency care. We are in business to manage medical emergencies where and whenever they occur in our areas of operation.
Locally we are backed by the formidable strength of UNIC Insurance Plc, one of Nigeria’s largest insurance companies. UNIC Insurance Plc underwrites health insurance and has the vision of maintaining high standard of health care through the provision of network of medical facilities.On hand to deliver our innovative services is a team of uniquely qualified international and local medical personnel.
In 2001 CRI deployed a fleet of ALS (Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances servicing Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. These ambulances are stocked with mobile intensive care equipment and staffed 24 hours a day by Nurses and Doctors.
Also in 2004, CRI opened a network of Mediclinics covering Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos. Currently we own 5 Mediclinics of which 4 have fully fledged Accident and emergency unit attached to the primary care clinics.
