Occupational/Health Screening

 

Occupational Health Care:
  • Pre-employment medical screening - Screening new recruits for work fitness in specified job functions

  • Periodic Health Screening - Periodic screening for employees with identifiable exposures according to government regulations

  • Pre-placement examinations - Examination of a staff after any major illness or accident to determine fitness to return to original job or a need to be pre-placed in another job within the organisation

  • Return to Work Evacuation - Determining the capability level of an employee who has had prolonged absence from work

  • Alcohol and Drug testing

  • Vision test

  • Audiometry

  • Food handlers testing

  • Occupational hygiene services

This service assists organizations and their employees in identifying hazards and proffers measures of control. The agents of exposure include: Physical, chemical, biological and environmental factors

Malaria Control Program

Malaria runs a most rapid and terminal course in non-immune foreigners working amongst us and in the multinational companies. It is recommended that foreign workers take compulsory chemoprophylaxis and regular random screening is undertaken.

HIV/AIDS Program

This program would include:

  • Pre-testing Counseling

  • Screening test

  • Confirmation test

  • Management of HIV positive individuals

  • Drug treatment

  • Management of Full blown AIDS

  • Referral to Specialists

  • Counseling of contacts / spouse
